I wish it were true, however
In 'Warriors News', it was stated that there was going to be a warriors movie coming out.
THIS IS NOT TRUE, though.
On warriors-wish forums, 'Gorsecloud states'
A long, long time ago, there was a rumor on Wikipedia that there was going to be a Warriors Movie. Finally, after a bit of searching, I managed to find the content of the article that posted the rumor.
A movie about the warriors book series has been green lighted by Universal Pictures and set to be released Summer 2007. It will be a live action movie with computer animation. This means the cast will use real cats and train them to do things, and then, on the computer, put a mask on the cat to make it talk. This is what they did for Snowbell the cat in Stuart Little (film) and in Dr. Dolittle (film), Dr. Dolittle 2, and Dr. Dolittle 3. A large number of big time stars have been signed to star in the movie such as Michael Clarke Duncan as the powerful Tigerstar. The movie will consist of Into the wild, Fire and ice, and Forest of secrets. The movie will be called Warriors Of The Forest.
And as for the facts:

The slightly annoying this is that, despite that fact that rumor started in June, and was proved false shortly after, rumors still crop up that there is going to be a movie, all of which stemming from this article.
So I'm here to put the rumors to rest.
Around August 18/19th, Wands and Worlds held a live chat with Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, and Vicky Holmes. Blizz was the one who asked the question about a Warriors movie, and here's the reply we've gotten.
Busted. That rumor surfaced on Wikipedia months ago, and is (as far as we know) 100% fake. In the Wands & Worlds chat that happened a while ago, Blizz asked that very question. Here was the reply she got:
VickyHolmes: Okay, this is a really important issue to clear up. I'm sorry to say that there are NO plans for a Warriors movie, even though we have had lots and lots of discussions with major film companies about this. This isn't to say that there will NEVER be a Warriors movie, but please don't get your hopes up! The reason for this is that the animated movies around at the moment tend to be larger-than-life, laugh-out-loud family films that adults can laugh at as well as kids - think Shrek or Cars. A Warriors movie would be much more serious, dealing with big issues like death and loyalty, which doesn't translate well to conventional animation just now. It might fit with a manga-style approach, but there isn't a mainstream market for this in the filmworld just yet. So we'll have to keep our fingers crossed...
